Dr. Max embarked on his journey in health, nutrition, and fitness in 1969, igniting a passion that has spanned over five decades. Following his college education, he pursued extensive training, initially as a Naturopathic Physician, and later earned a Doctorate in Nutrition & Holistic Health. After nearly 15 years of practice, he furthered his expertise by obtaining a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, specializing in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Although he no longer practices as a Naturopathic or Osteopathic Physician, Doc Max draws profoundly from his rich background to guide individuals towards holistic wellness. As a seasoned Health Educator and Coach, he is dedicated to reshaping the traditional doctor-patient dynamic, advocating for individuals to take charge of their health decisions. With over 50 years of study and 40 years of clinical experience, Doc Max continues his quest to optimize health, performance, and longevity, firmly believing in empowering others along their journey. His latest endeavor, the Wolverine Healing Protocol offered through ARTC, combines cutting-edge modalities and technologies curated from his extensive research and practice. Dr. Arthur Hodge, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Arthur Hodge, MD, embodies the essence of a timeless physician, boasting over 5 decades of clinical experience and still avidly pursuing knowledge well into his 80s. Serving as ARTC’s esteemed Medical Director, he oversees a spectrum of services including testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) certifications. Recognizing the transformative potential of these therapies for individuals over 40, Dr. Hodge advocates for restoring youthful hormone levels to enhance well-being, supplemented by natural methods where applicable. From his early days working in hospitals to his tenure as a Captain in the Army, Dr. Hodge’s dedication to healthcare has been unwavering. Despite initial obstacles, including being deemed "too old" for medical school at 29, he pursued his passion, completing his education and practicing family medicine for 25 years in Pennsylvania. Relocating to the Sarasota area in 2006, Dr. Hodge continues to leave an indelible mark on the medical community, leveraging his expertise in hormone therapy garnered since the 1980s to guide countless individuals towards a healthier balance and improved quality of life.
